A brand film is your single most powerful marketing asset. One film that works on your homepage, opens every sales conversation, and builds the trust that no ad spend can buy — for years.
A brand film is a 1–3 minute cinematic film that captures what your company does, why it matters, and who it's for, built to perform commercially, not just look good.
It is not a product demo, a highlight reel, or a "company video." Those things have their place. A brand film is different: it's built around a strategic goal, produced to a standard that builds trust on first viewing, and formatted to live in every channel where your audience actually makes decisions.
The brands that invest in one describe the same effect: conversations change. Inbound quality improves. The brand starts to feel like what it already is — just finally visible to the right people.
A brand film is the answer to the question every potential client is quietly asking when they land on your site: "Should I trust these people with my money?" Done right, it answers yes before they have to ask.
If more than two of these describe where your brand is right now, a brand film is probably the highest-leverage thing you can invest in.
Referrals are great until they're not enough. A brand film extends your reach to cold audiences who don't have someone to vouch for you and makes them feel like they do.
The brand you've built doesn't match how you show up online. New visitors bounce before they understand what you do or why it's worth their attention.
Every time you try to describe what you do in words, something gets lost. A brand film says it better, faster, and more memorably than any slide or paragraph can.
You've outgrown word-of-mouth and need paid channels to actually convert. Brand film is what makes paid media efficient — it handles the trust problem that stops cold audiences from acting.
A new product line, a geographic expansion, or a repositioning effort all benefit from a single clear film that introduces the brand to people who've never heard of you.
A film that no longer reflects where the brand actually is does more harm than good. If your business has grown, your brand film should have too.
A well-made brand film doesn't expire in six months. Here's how it keeps working long after delivery day.
Most brands lose visitors in the first 30 seconds because nothing on the page answers "why should I trust you." A brand film on your homepage homepage keeps people longer and converts at a higher rate.
People who've watched your brand film arrive at a sales call already understanding who you are and what you do. The first 10 minutes of that call are completely different.
Every brand film we make includes social cut-downs, paid format versions, and platform-ready exports. One shoot. One investment. Paid campaigns that actually perform.
In the outdoor, adventure, and lifestyle space, almost everyone has the same product. A strategic brand film lets you compete on story and values — not just specs and price.
A brand film that plays at a trade show, in a partnership pitch, or as the first email in an outreach sequence dramatically changes the response rate. It tells the story you'd otherwise have to narrate live.
Three brand films across different industries. Same strategic foundation — different stories.
Repositioning a word-of-mouth coaching brand as a premium experience for serious riders. One film that changed how the brand showed up cold.

A luxury alpine hospitality film shot in the Dolomites — capturing the specific feeling of the place so precisely that guests arrive already feeling like they know it.
View Project →Most production companies start with locations and mood boards. We start with the question your brand needs to answer — and work backward from there.
Every brand film we build starts with a strategy session — not a mood board. We need to know what the film is supposed to do before we can know how to make it. Who watches it, where, and what do they need to feel or understand afterward? The answer shapes the entire production: locations, pacing, tone, edit rhythm, music. A film built without this question answered isn't a brand film — it's content.
We're based in Boulder. We mountain bike, ski, camp, and travel. When your brand belongs outdoors — on trails, in the mountains, at altitude, near water — we don't need to fake it. We know the light, the access, the timing, and the terrain. That knowledge shows up in the footage in ways that no amount of post-production can replicate.
James Turner leads every brand film personally — from the first strategy call to the final color grade. There are no hand-offs between creative and production, no account managers translating your feedback into something the director has never heard. The person you meet on day one is the person who picks up the camera and delivers the final file.
A brand film is a hero asset. But it also feeds everything else. Every project we produce includes a full format suite — 60-second and 30-second cuts, vertical social formats, paid media versions, web-optimized exports. You leave with a complete content system, not a single file that only works on one platform.
Every brand film project — regardless of scope — includes all of these as standard.
The main film. Cinematic, strategic, built to live on your homepage and in every sales conversation.
Vertical and square formats for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts — built for each platform, not cropped from the hero.
Pre-roll and mid-roll cuts formatted for YouTube ads, Meta campaigns, and connected TV — ready to run without additional editing.
From wrap to your inbox in 10 business days. A date we put on paper on day one and hold ourselves to.
Structured feedback using a shared review platform where you comment directly on the timeline. Clear turnaround on each round.
Professional color grade, sound design, and licensed music — all in-house. No royalty risks six months after launch.
Every location visited before shoot day. We know the light, the access, and the backup plan before the camera arrives.
The footage and finished films are yours outright. No licensing renewals, no platform restrictions, no strings.
A 45-minute strategy call to define the goal, the audience, and what success looks like. We write the brief together before a single frame is planned.
Location scouting, shot list, call sheet, crew and logistics locked. Everything planned before shoot day so the camera is the only variable.
Shoot days that run on schedule. Real environments, intentional pacing, and an engineer's approach to adapting when conditions shift.
Edit, color, sound, and music in-house. First cut in 10 business days. Finals in every format on the date we committed to.
These come up in almost every early conversation. If yours isn't here, reach out directly — you'll get a straight answer.
Ready to talk about your project? No brief needed — just the brand and the goal.
Start a Conversation →Brand films start at $6k and typically range to $14k for a fully scoped project including the hero film and all format deliverables. What affects the number: number of shoot days, location logistics, crew size, and deliverable count. Every project gets a detailed proposal before you commit to anything. See our Investment page for more detail.
From first conversation to final delivery, most brand film projects run 6–10 weeks. That includes a week or two for strategy and pre-production, 1–2 shoot days, and 10 business days from wrap to first cut. If you have a specific launch date or deadline, tell us early — we can usually work backward from it.
No. "We need a brand film" is enough to start a conversation. We'll ask the questions that turn a rough idea into a clear brief. Most clients don't know exactly what they need until we've had one conversation — that's what the strategy call is for.
We travel regularly for brand film projects — nationally and internationally. We've shot in 20+ countries. Travel costs are quoted upfront and included in the proposal. If your location is remote, challenging, or international, we've likely been somewhere similar before.
Engaged at the strategy stage, available for a check-in during pre-production, responsive during revision rounds. Outside of those touchpoints, we handle everything. Most clients describe it as: "I told them what I needed and they figured out how to make it happen." That's the goal.
No brief required. Just the brand, the goal, and a willingness to think it through. We'll tell you honestly whether a brand film is the right move and what it would take to build one worth making.
